I have practiced in the state courts in Hillsborough, Hernando, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Manatee, Marion, Osceola, and Sarasota Counties, since June, 1982. I have had experience as an Attorney-Title Agent for LandAmerica and Union General Title Insurance Companies through Majestic Title of Central Florida, Inc.

I am admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and in the Federal District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

I have been certified by the Supreme Court of Florida as a Circuit Civil Mediator and as a Residential Mortgage Foreclosure Mediator.  I have also been certified as a Federal Mediator for the Federal District Court, Middle District, Florida.

Professional Biographical Information

Mr. Albrechta is a Supreme Court of Florida Certified Circuit Civil Mediator and Certified Residential Mortgage Foreclosure Mediator.  He also practices in the areas of Foreclosure Defense, Business Law, Asset Protection, Wills, Probate, Estate Planning, Contracts, Real Estate, Guardianships, Incorporations,  Civil Litigation, DUI Defense and License Suspension Administrative Hearings.

He received a B.A. in English from Miami University of Ohio in 1978 and a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Toledo College of Law in 1981.

Mr. Albrechta passed the Florida Bar Exam on his first try in 1982 and began working for the Hillsborough County Public Defender’s Office. He entered the private practice of law in 1987. His experience includes work as an associate with Muga & Real, P.A., as a partner in Hayes & Albrechta, P.A., as Legal Department head of Armor Insurance Company, and as Attorney-Title Agent for LandAmerica and Union General Title Insurance Companies through Majestic Title of Central Florida, Inc.

He has practiced in the state courts of Hillsborough, Hernando, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Lake, Alachua, Manatee, Marion, Osceola, and Sarasota Counties, since June, 1982 and has been admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and in the Federal District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

 

Mr. Albrechta received his certification from the Supreme Court of Florida as a Circuit Civil Mediator in 2010 and as a Residential Mortgage Foreclosure Mediator in 2011.  Mr. Albrechta also became certified as a Federal Mediator in the Federal District Court, Middle District, in 2011.

Mr. Albrechta has written articles for the Florida Bar Continuing Legal Education program and a variety of Bay Area publications which included an "Ask the Lawyer" column. He was appointed Chairman of the National Mock Trial Competition for the American Bar Association and ran the national competition in 1993. 

 

 

 

 

 

Community Involvement

Mr. Albrechta has been on the board of Neighborhood Networks, a business networking group and was their legal advisor. He has twice served the North Tampa Chamber of Commerce as President.  Mr. Albrechta is presently a member of the Board of Directors of the Family Justice Center of Hillsborough County.  Mr. Albrechta, an Eagle Scout, has also been deeply involved in scouting as a Cub Master, Assistant Scout Master, Eagle Court of Honor Coordinator and Eagle Advisor, Presenter for the Friends of Scouting Campaign, and has served as Chairman of two Scouting Districts in the Tampa Bay area.  Mr. Albrechta is currently the Chairman of the Tocobaga District Eagle Board of Review.  He is an active member of Idlewild Baptist Church in Tampa and sings in the Adult Worship Choir.

 

Mr. Albrechta is now hosting his own prime time internet radio show named "Preventative Law with Mark Albrechta, the Lawyer."  The show airs on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m., as part of the Pro Forum series on the World Action Radio & Television Network.  The show, which airs in 38 countries on 5 continents, deals with helpful legal tips on a host of subjects.
